Awake/Aware Spring 2025

Our response to stress is a habit. My goal is to help you discover the habit that doesn't serve and start building a new one.
Awake/Aware guided practice is a fully somatic experience where we bring attention and support to the structures and functions of our bodies. When we do that we invite our bodies to connect to conscious awareness and awaken to the present moment. This is where change happens.
We build new pathways for information to flow, helping our bodies release tension and strain as it recognizes the relative safety of right now. It is a place of receptivity, openness, and support. It allows you to rest into the practice all the while creating the opportunity for deep support and awareness.
What participants have experienced
- Better sleep
- Ease in releasing tension
- Better digestion
- Calmly energized
- Connection and flow with personal energy
- More grounded and present
- Clearer awareness of what their body needs: sleep, food, water, etc.
How is this different than other guided practices?
We won't be imagining chakras or wide-open spaces. This is practical, physiologically-based support for the systems in your body that are most impacted by overwhelm: your kidneys, adrenals and brainstem.
We bring gentle awareness to your body and its systems, inviting the opportunity for something different to arise. Through this invitation and the repetitive nature of the class, your body begins to respond with relaxation and regulation.
